Reach out with your script and details about how, where, and for how long the audio will be used. These specifics are necessary to draw up a quote as rates vary between commercial (broadcast and streaming) and other uses.
Once we're on the same page about what your project requires, and how it will be used. An accurate quote will be drawn up, and you'll agree to move forward.
Now comes the fun part, recording the perfect audio for your project! We'll discuss any remaining details about the desired delivery style, tone any any other creative direction for your project. Then, it's time to record, with a live feed from the mic in the vocal booth if you want to be involved!
You'll listen to the edited recording and approve it, or request any necessary changes or corrections. The final invoice will arrive via email, and upon payment high-quality versions of your final approved audio will be delivered in WAV, MP3, or another format of your choosing.
Answers to any questions you may have, at any step of the process, are always just a quick phone call or email away.
This is by far the most common question, it's also the most challenging to answer because it entirely depends on several factors about your project. Every project is different, and receives a customized quote in-line with established industry standards. Factors that influence the cost include:
There are many factors that all must be accounted for when it comes to determining the pricing for voice over work. Especially when it comes to paid-placement commercial advertising, in that case the cost primarily covers license to use the voice for a defined period of time, and because commercial work involves 'conflicts' it generally cannot be released in perpetuity.
At face value AI may look like a cheaper alternative to actual human voice over. But that's a small picture observation. What AI lacks is emotion. Yes, an artificial voice can make your words audible, but it will never connect to the feeling behind those words the same way a human does. This means that while, initially it may look like a viable, cheaper, alternative your message won't connect with your audience. So what you initially thought was cheaper is ultimately just a sunk cost, and you'll end up spending extra when you discover that it was a mistake and you're not getting results. Working with Will Vincent, you're always guaranteed a real human voice on your project.
Is your goal to just get a voice, or do you want a highly trained professional voice who will work closely with you to understand your project's goals, and deliver a high-quality end product? If your only concern is price, we're probably not going to agree on the project budget. If, however, you have realistic expectations, and a reasonable real-world budget you probably aren't asking this question in the first place. If you're not sure, quotes are free.

Sure. You could also build your own house or hand-dig a swimming pool. But hiring a professional means that you know the job is done right, and frees you up to focus on the aspects of your job at which you excel. Why add even more responsibility to yourself, especially if it's not something you regularly do?
In most cases, turnaround times are under 24 hours. Shorter form projects are almost always able to be turned around within 24 hours. Exceptions to that would be if you would like to be involved in the recording session as we must find a mutually agreeable time to schedule the recording, or if there is a backlog of work ahead of you. Longer form projects will take more time, and estimates will be determined while we discuss the details of your project.
Absolutely! A live directed session is a great collaborative opportunity that can be accommodated across a variety of connectivity options from a simple telephone call patched into the sound system of the vocal booth, to skype, zoom, or other voice or video chat solutions, as well as professional grade solutions like source connect, which has become the industry standard replacement for isdn.
After completion of the job, final high-quality files will be delivered via WeTransfer, unless you prefer another method. Unless otherwise specified, final audio will be delivered in WAV and MP3 formats, and can be delivered unprocessed or with some basic EQ and processing in place so that you can drop it right into a video timeline, or onto the radio and use it right away without any extra effort on your part. If you require additional production, please ask while we're discussing the details of your project.
Certainly! Unless otherwise specified all projects include fully edited final audio, with a basic mix with regard to levels and EQ. If you prefer, additional mastering can be done so that the audio is usable in a final production with no additional processing. If you would like music and sound effects or other sound design, that can usually be accommodated as well for an extra charge. If that is of interest, be sure to ask and discuss details when we have our initial conversations about your project.
It depends on the type of work. If this is something you would like to discuss, please reach out to start a conversation.
Any problems based on missed words or phrases, mispronunciation, etc are always addressed free of charge. Rewording, new or different lines added or changed after the initial agreement will incur additional fees. Typically one or two rounds of revision concerning pacing or tone are included in the quoted work, extra revisions can be requested. In order to reduce mispronunciations, it is asked that you please provide pronunciation instructions for any words or names that may not be obvious. When in doubt, any regional pronunciation, less common multi-syllable names, or scientific/medical terms should include pronunciation instructions.
